Junior - Legal Adviser

to provide strategic legal guidance, ensure regulatory compliance, and support risk management across all business functions.

Key Responsibilities



Legal Advisory & Strategy

Provide legal counsel on all business matters, including commercial contracts, technology agreements, data privacy, intellectual property, and employment law. Advise on AI-specific legal and ethical considerations, including algorithmic accountability, bias, and responsible AI deployment.

Regulatory Compliance

Monitor and ensure compliance with UAE laws and regulations, including the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), cybersecurity law, and relevant international data protection standards (e.g., GDPR). Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies as required.

Contracts & Negotiations

Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts including SaaS agreements, licensing deals, NDAs, and service level agreements (SLAs). Support partnership and investor agreements with strong legal safeguards.

Intellectual Property

Advise on protection and commercialization of AI-related IP. Coordinate with external counsel for patent, copyright, and trademark registration when needed.

Risk Management

Identify and mitigate legal risks related to product development, deployment, and scaling. Create internal legal policies, processes, and training programs.

Corporate Governance



Support legal aspects of board meetings, company structure, and corporate filings. Ensure alignment with the company's ethical AI and governance frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent; Master's or LLM is a plus. Must be licensed to practice law in the UAE or a recognized international jurisdiction. Minimum 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably with exposure to tech startups, AI, or software companies. Strong understanding of UAE and international technology, data protection, and IP laws. Experience working with regulators and drafting complex commercial agreements. Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
