Professional Commercial Lawyer, common law

Provide specialized legal advice to businesses and corporations, ensuring compliance with UAE commercial laws, while focusing on major transactions and safeguarding intellectual property rights.

Key Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Law (Master's in Commercial or International Law preferred).

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in commercial law.

In-depth knowledge of UAE commercial laws and related regulations. Proven expertise in intellectual property matters, employment contracts, and corporate legal structuring. Specialization in CME-A (Commercial Middle East - Asia). Strong negotiation skills and ability to represent companies before courts and official authorities. Fluency in Arabic and English (additional Asian language such as French or Russian is a plus).
Main Duties

Manage mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures. Ensure compliance with UAE commercial laws and regulatory frameworks. Support employment agreements and address legal HR matters. Monitor legal risks and provide strategic advice to senior management. Handle legal disputes between individuals or companies Draft and review contracts and agreements Advise clients on UAE civil laws and procedures Represent clients in civil court cases Resolve issues related to property, tenancy, and compensation Assist with arbitration and settlement negotiations Ensure legal documents comply with UAE regulations

Applicants must demonstrate solid knowledge and practical experience in dealing with the legal and financial frameworks of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC), including company registration, regulatory compliance, and management of commercial disputes.

Pay: From AED20,000.00 per month
