Junior I.T. Support professionals are responsible for providing technical assistance and support to colleagues. They work closely with the I.T. team to ensure smooth operation of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
Responsibilities:
1. Provide technical support to end-users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and software applications.
4. Perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems and applications.
5. Set up new users' accounts and profiles and assist with onboarding processes.
6. Train users on basic computer and software usage.
7. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
8. Maintain inventory of hardware and software and keep track of licenses and warranties.
9. Collaborate with the I.T. team to implement new technologies and upgrades.
10. Document and maintain technical procedures and guidelines.
11. Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry developments.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role.
3. Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
4. Experience with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
5. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
10. Knowledge of networking and database management is a plus.
11. Certifications such as Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are preferred.
12. Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premier (or similar).
13. Strong knowledge of Office 365 applications, Office 365 Admin Portal & Microsoft Exchange.
14. Handle all company-owned domains and domain configurations.
