Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Junior Highway Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to become an integral part of a respected and ambitious team, and the role will provide every opportunity for you to make your mark and influence the continuing sustainable growth of Parsons in Dubai and further afield.
What You'll Be Doing:
Performs a variety of highway engineering duties by applying basic engineering techniques for road and highway design and analyses within road discipline.
Assignment may be to a structured rotational program which would include experience in all aspects of Highway Design field, as well as Project Controls, Procurement, and Construction Management, and through several other disciplines in Engineering. Most of project design assignments will involve CAE (computer aided engineering)/CAD (computer aided design) applications. Willingness to travel or relocate to supplier, client, or construction site locations is also expected.
Will be further trained under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, and gaining exposure to Company procedures.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on highway engineering.
Minimum of 2 years of work experience in highway design or engineering consultancy.
Fundamental knowledge in highway design; additional knowledge in structural, electrical, mechanical, or related civil engineering fields is advantageous.
Proficiency in AutoDesk Civil 3D and Bentley Microstation, along with other relevant PC software packages commonly used in engineering.
