Job Description
e are seeking a
Junior Health and Safety Officer
to join our team and assist in implementing and maintaining effective HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards across our projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of UAE HSE regulations and a proactive approach to promoting a safe working environment.Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures in compliance with UAE laws and company standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented. Support in preparing risk assessments, method statements, and incident/accident reports. Promote a safety-first culture by conducting toolbox talks and safety training for site personnel. Ensure proper use and maintenance of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) across all teams. Assist in maintaining HSE records and documentation. Report unsafe acts or conditions to senior management promptly. Support emergency response planning and drills.
Requirements:
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.Certification:
NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) mandatory.Experience:
Minimum 2 years of HSE experience in the UAE (construction/contracting background preferred).Skills:
Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations. Good communication and observation skills. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
