Responsibilities

Welcoming clients and understanding their preferences/needs Advising haircuts based on clients face shape, hair type and condition Undertaking basic and advanced hair cutting techniques like layers, graduated hair and blunt cut Washing, shampooing, conditioning and drying as well as blow drying clients' hair Suggesting various hair cuts and styling options according to the client's facial features Providing various hair treatments like rebonding, thermal reconditioning and spas Suggesting different hair colouring methods like highlights, global and balayage Using various hair styling tools like scissors, trimmers, straightener, curler and blow dryer Creating hairstyles for formal events like weddings, casual outings and professional photoshoots Analyzing hair condition and recommending hair care products like therapeutic oils, hair masks and serums Doing head massages, hot towel treatments and root retouching Recommending and selling in-store hair products whenever possible Suggesting medical treatment for chronic scalp conditions Providing basic beauty services like facial threading, facials and manicures/pedicures Teaching hair styling on wigs to inexperienced and junior staff Checking and maintaining inventory of hair care products Managing and scheduling appointments and addressing walk-in queries Maintaining cleanliness of the salon Cleaning and sterilizing all hairdressing tools Working with the Beauty Salon Manager to introduce some attractive offers.
Requirements

Proven work experience as a Hair Stylist or Hairdresser Ability to offer high quality of customer service Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and holding high patience level Knowledge of different hair cutting and styling techniques Understanding of latest industry trends Ability to maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards Arabic language will be an added advantage
