Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our marketing team at GATE Supermarkets. This role is perfect for fresh graduates or candidates with home country design experience who are passionate about retail marketing and visual communication. The successful candidate will support our brand development and create compelling visual content for our retail operations across five UAE locations.

Key Responsibilities

Design promotional materials including flyers, banners, and in-store displays Create digital content for social media platforms and online marketing Develop product catalogs and price tags for retail displays Design advertisements for print and digital media Support brand consistency across all visual communications Create seasonal campaign materials and holiday promotions Assist in packaging design and product labeling Design signage and wayfinding materials for store locations Support website graphics and e-commerce visual content Collaborate with marketing team on creative campaigns and brand initiatives
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field Fresh graduates welcome or candidates with design experience in home country Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory Knowledge of digital and print design requirements Creative portfolio demonstrating design skills and versatility Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Good communication skills in English Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in retail or FMCG design Knowledge of Arabic typography and bilingual design Experience with video editing software (After Effects, Premiere Pro) Understanding of social media design trends and requirements Photography and photo editing skills Knowledge of web design principles Familiarity with printing processes and specifications
