Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Junior graphic designer to join our growing company. You will collaborate with other designers to create effective and eye-catching images and campaigns to increase our user base. As a graphic designer, we hope you can put your passion for design to create beautiful images and compelling content. Your duties will include developing graphics for digital platforms to enhance our accompanying text. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with clients to understand visual concepts, formatting requirements, end-user needs and company brand and image to develop a strategy for building website components
- Manipulate digital software to build and test different components; send models to clients to guarantee their satisfaction and to verify that outputs are still in alignment with the overall goal
- Collaborate with programmers to write code using languages such as HTML or XML, and ensure that all written code complies with industry standards and is usable on different browsers and devices
- Implement graphics, videos and transitions to enhance a website\xe2\x80\x99s effectiveness and add dimension to the content
- Analyze website security and implement message encryption and firewalls for better control over confidential information
- Create and design various materials for digital and print
- Select colors, fonts, images, and layouts
- Ensure projects are completed in a timely manner with a quality produc
- Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software
- Establish creative direction for the company within brand guidelines
- Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces
- QA design for errors
- Implement feedback and changes whenever possible
- Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.
- Monitor website traffic and adjust SEO as needed to prevent lost sales and help position the client at the top of search engine rankings
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject
- Proven work experience as a Web and Graphic Designer
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
- Ability to deliver production-ready digital assets in a wide variety of formats
- Awareness of UI/UX principles
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for rapid prototyping
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies
- BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design or a Visual Arts subject
- Work with front-end web developers to deploy designs.
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in graphic design or a related field
- One to two years of professional graphic design experience
- Portfolio of strong creative work
- Knowledge of browser compatibility across multiple platforms and devicesExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
- Experience with HTML, Javascript, and CSS
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
