Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior Engineer to join our Estimation Department. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering principles, strong skills in AutoCAD and Excel, and a keen interest in the oil and gas industry. This role involves supporting the estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates for materials and services related to oil and gas projects. Utilize AutoCAD to create and modify project drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with specifications. Develop and maintain estimation databases and spreadsheets using Excel to track pricing, quantities, and project timelines. Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers to gather relevant data for bid preparation. Conduct market research to identify material costs and supplier capabilities. Review technical documentation and specifications to understand project requirements. Participate in project meetings and assist in presenting estimation findings to internal stakeholders. Support the continuous improvement of estimation processes and tools.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD for drafting and design tasks. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Basic knowledge of oil and gas industry standards and practices is preferred. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
