Environmental Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

Environmental Assessments:

Conduct thorough environmental assessments and site evaluations to identify environmental risks and provide strategic mitigation recommendations.

Waste Management Solutions:

Design and implement waste management strategies, focusing on waste reduction, recycling, and sustainability practices for clients across multiple industries.

Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure all projects comply with relevant local, state, and federal environmental laws and regulations, including obtaining necessary permits and maintaining accurate reporting.

Project Management:

Lead environmental consultancy projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and client expectations.

Data Collection & Reporting:

Gather, analyze, and interpret environmental data, preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations for improving clients' environmental practices.

Client Interaction & Advisory:

Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on waste management, sustainability strategies, and environmental risk management.

Continuous Learning & Innovation:

Stay updated on environmental regulations, trends, and technologies to offer innovative solutions and ensure best practices in all environmental consultancy services.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in

Environmental Engineering

,

Civil Engineering

,

Chemical Engineering

or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience as an

Environmental Engineer

or in an environmental consultancy role, particularly within

waste management

or

environmental studies

. Solid understanding of

environmental regulations

, sustainability strategies, and waste management best practices. Strong proficiency with environmental data analysis tools, engineering software, and regulatory compliance frameworks. Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on providing practical, sustainable solutions for clients. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex data to clients and stakeholders clearly. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working independently and as part of a team. Professional certifications (e.g., PE license, LEED accreditation) are a plus.
