We are now looking for Junior Design Engineer - Process to execute projects and support bids in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Reports To The Junior Design Engineer - Process reports to Line Manager, Process Discipline. Job Overview The Junior Engineer - Process, is needed to support the department in the execution of ongoing projects. Process Engineer is responsible for handling engineering design review and analysis assignments normally involving a major project or several smaller or less complex projects. These projects by nature of their complexity and difficulty require the fully competent application of conventional knowledge in oil & gas. In your role you will assist in the execution of process engineering projects in safe manner, budget, schedule and quality. You should have a desire to work on multi discipline local as well overseas projects and be able to drive discipline goals by working together with the assigned discipline designers and lead engineers. Responsibilities and Duties The main duties and responsibilities of the Process Engineer are but not limited to the following:

• • Provide design support services, perform process design calculations and detailed engineering, equipment sizing and selection. Prepare process design reports, case studies and other technical documents.
  • Develop design alternatives, concept design schemes, process diagrams, preliminary layouts, and other basic engineering drawings
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, process calculations, equipment data sheets and other design documents and identify areas of design optimization for cost competitiveness
  • Liaise with vendors, third parties and individuals both inside and outside of the organization to receive budgetary quotes
  • Conduct site visits, inspections, participate in plant assets condition assessment surveys and prepare due diligence reports
  • Take full accountability for effectively prioritizing and managing their own workload
  • Proven team player across multiple departments
  • Working experience in use of process software like HYSYS, Pipesim, Flarenet, Pipenet, Pipesim, HTRI, others; (OLGA Added Advantage)
  • Perform hydraulic analyses by the use of Excel Spreadsheets / steady- state software(s)
  • Develop Process Descriptions, Operating and Control narratives, and others documents.
  • Prepare Equipment datasheets; Instruments datasheets;
  • Strictly adheres to industry standards, codes and engineering practices and different Company\xe2\x80\x99s engineering guidelines;
  • Assists the Lead Process Eng. / Process Line Manager in project activities, control of man-hours and review in any change in scope of work;
  • Advise on time to Process Lead of any deviations encountered during a project/ design and proposed corrective actions;
  • Advise to Line Manager if any technical problems and unresolved differences with other colleagues;
  • Be aware of project schedules to ensure that dates of submission, rates of progress and design periods are feasible to commit;
  • Perform the allocated tasks to an agreed schedule, seek new opportunities and request assistance where necessary;
  • Alert to Process Lead to circumstances within an ongoing Project that could constitute a change order.

Qualifications

• University Degree in relevant discipline (Chemical) or equivalent;
• Extensive design experience, primarily in a consultancy organization.
• Knowledge of International Codes applicable to Process design (API, Shell)
• 3-5 years of experience in the specific discipline in oil & gas /industrial sector/ EPC projects;
• Experienced in all stages of project delivery (Studies, FEED and Detail Engineering)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to details.
• Excellent people management skills with solid understanding of customer interface
• Willingness and ability to meet tight deadlines
• Willingness to overcome challenges and pressure during peak of activities
• Flexible attitude, with good written and verbal communication skills in English language
