The Junior Commis supports kitchen operations by assisting senior chefs in food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and learning cooking techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in basic food preparation and mise en place
Follow instructions from senior chefs
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment
Help with storage, labeling, and stock rotation
Follow hygiene and safety standards at all times
Support during service and peak hours
Requirements:
1-2 years of kitchen experience (or culinary training)
Willingness to learn and grow in kitchen operations
Basic knowledge of food hygiene
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
Team player with a positive attitude
