to join our culinary team. The role involves preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, assisting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and contributing to menu development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes with a focus on
pasta, continental, and Asian cuisines
.
Prepare ingredients (cutting, marinating, portioning) according to recipes and menu standards.
Cook a variety of pasta dishes, sauces, and Asian/continental specialties to meet customer expectations.
Follow recipes accurately while maintaining portion control and minimizing waste.
Assist in developing new dishes and improving existing recipes.
Ensure all dishes are prepared and served promptly and meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation, kitchen tools, and equipment.
Adhere to all food hygiene, health, and safety standards.
Support senior chefs during busy hours and collaborate effectively with the team.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages to the Head/Sous Chef.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Junior Chef, Commis Chef, or in a similar role with exposure to
pasta, continental, and Asian cuisines
.
Knowledge of kitchen equipment, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Creativity and passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Pay: AED1,400.00 - AED1,700.00 per month
