Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of cafe-style dishes, including

sandwiches, pizzas, pasta, burgers, and Indian street food bites

. Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation align with the cafe's standards. Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, ingredient stocking, and maintaining hygiene. Follow food safety regulations to ensure a clean and organized workspace. Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for timely restocking of ingredients. Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment to meet customer demands. Maintain consistency in portion sizes, cooking techniques, and food presentation. Collaborate with the Head Chef and Cafe manager to optimize kitchen efficiency and reduce wastage.

As an All-Rounder:

Responsible for overall cafe maintenance, including cleaning the workspace, dining area, and kitchen. Support front-end operations if needed, such as serving food or handling customer requests. Ensure hygiene standards are maintained throughout the cafe. Help with basic food preparation when required.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a chef in the culinary industry is required. Junior or with minimal experience is fine. Experience in preparing cafe-style and street food dishes. Knowledge of Indian street food flavors and global fast-food trends. Ability to multitask and work under pressure. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations.
