Junior BIM Modeler (Structural) Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Junior BIM Modeler with a focus on structural modelling, possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural design principles and proficiency in using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative structural designs. Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural design principles and proficiency in using Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to diverse projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create innovative structural designs. Responsibilities:
- BIM Modelling: Develop detailed structural models using BIM software (e.g., Revit Structure, Tekla Structures) based on engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Model Creation: Generate 3D models of building structures, elements, and components, including beams, columns, slabs, walls, and connections.
- Parametric Components: Create and modify parametric families and components to accurately represent structural elements and details within the BIM environment.
- Model Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure coordination and integration of structural models with other disciplines (e.g., architectural, MEP).
- Clash Detection: Assist in clash detection and coordination reviews to identify and resolve conflicts between structural elements and other building systems.
- Detailing: Develop detailed structural drawings and documentation, including plans, sections, elevations, and schedules, to communicate design intent and construction requirements effectively.
- Quality Assurance: Perform regular quality checks and reviews of structural models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Learning and Development: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in BIM modelling and structural design through continuous learning and professional development.
- Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in structural BIM modelling, preferably in a professional engineering firm or consultancy.
- Proficiency in BIM software, such as Revit Structure or Tekla Structures, with a strong understanding of BIM principles and workflows.
- Solid understanding of structural design principles, engineering codes, standards, and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality structural models and documentation.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to learning and professional development.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to structural BIM modelling.
