Job Title: Architect BIM Modeler Reports to: BIM Information Manager Summary The Architect BIM Modeler will provide drafting and modeling support to project teams. This position requires proficiency in Autodesk software, specifically Revit and AutoCAD. Candidates must have a minimum of two years' experience working on CAD and BIM Modeling. In this entry level role, the Architect BIM Modeler, will be exposed to all aspects of a BIM projects (BIM Modeling, Model Administration, Documentation, Scheduling, Library Creation etc.) and is expected to quickly gain the necessary working knowledge of project guidelines, processes and techniques to BIM projects profitably, meeting the time, resources and budget objectives of the project. General Responsibilities Provide BIM modeling, CAD drafting and design support. Create Revit families and CAD blocks. Obtain work assignments of either specific design elements or CAD drafting from Information managers. Review all work for completeness and accuracy Use checklists set-up for quality control on each project and submit work according to deadlines. Provide an accurate accounting of time spent on projects with descriptions for each time entry on a weekly basis. Complete printing and plotting requests. Objectives and Goals to Measure Performance Timely and accurate preparation of models, shop drawings, etc. Provide daily and weekly timesheets. Demonstrate a deep interest in learning new skills and knowledge Observe professional ethics. Positive attitude towards collaboration and knowledge sharing. Ability to work both independently as well as part of a team. Demonstrate effective communication skills. Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements An Engineering/ Architecture Bachelor Degree of the related field. At Least two years of Revit experience and AutoCAD experience. Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) Certification. Understanding of Construction Documentation. Knowledge of, and proven practical background in, Autodesk Revit and related Building Information Modeling software. Job Type: Full-time COVID-19 considerations:
