We are seeking a Junior Automation Engineer for our Middle East digital delivery team. The Junior Automation Engineer will be responsible for supporting automation efforts across various projects within AtkinsR\xc3\xa9alis. This role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions aimed at enhancing efficiency, reliability, and quality in engineering processes Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and develop automation solutions for engineering tasks, processes, and workflows.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of automation tools and platforms to streamline repetitive tasks and optimize productivity.
• Participate in the testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of automation scripts and systems to ensure robustness and reliability.
• Contribute to the documentation of automation procedures, standards, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference.
• Support the integration of automation technologies with existing engineering software and systems to enhance interoperability and data exchange.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in automation technologies, tools, and methodologies drive continuous improvement and innovation.
• Collaborate with project teams to identify automation opportunities, requirements, and constraints to deliver effective solutions aligned with project objectives.

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in architecture, engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in automation engineering, software development, or related field
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#, with a focus on scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with AEC software frameworks, tools, and platforms such as Visual Studio, GitHub, Azure.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles and agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies, techniques, and challenges.
• Prior experience or coursework in automation, robotics, or control systems is a plus, not mandatory.
