Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting
Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
VAT & Compliance
Prepare and file VAT returns in accordance with UAE laws
Ensure full compliance with relevant tax and accounting regulations
Reporting & Documentation
Prepare internal financial reports and monthly summaries
Maintain audit-ready documentation
Liaise with external auditors when necessary
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience in the UAE (preferably in the construction industry)
Proficient in QuickBooks and MS Excel.
Solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and project-based accounting
Key Skills:
High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities
Strong communication and reporting skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
