About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Jr. Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Jr. Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects by assisting in cost estimation, quantity take-offs, and contract administration.
Assist in preparing bills of quantities and cost estimates for construction projects
Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications
Support the preparation of tender documents and contract administration
Assist in the evaluation of contractor claims and variations
Participate in site visits to verify work progress and quantities
Help maintain accurate project cost records and reports
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure project success
Contribute to the development of cost-saving strategies and value engineering initiatives
Assist in the preparation of monthly progress reports and financial forecasts
Stay updated on local building codes and regulations in Dubai
What do we need from you
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
0-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or related field
Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft)
Strong mathematical and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Basic knowledge of construction processes and methodologies
Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Dubai
Willingness to work on various construction sites in Dubai and surrounding areas
* Professional certification (e.g., APC) is a plus
