Jr. Bending Machine Operator
Job Description
Operate bending machines (e.g., tube benders, pipe benders, and other related equipment) to bend and shape metal components used in HVAC systems.
Follow technical drawings, blueprints, and production schedules to ensure accurate bending of materials.
Monitor the bending process to ensure that products meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
Load materials into machines and set up for each bending task according to production specifications.
Inspect bent components for defects and ensure they meet design specifications.
Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on bending machines to ensure continuous production.
Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow all safety protocols during machine operation.
Support the production team with other tasks as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience or training in machine operation (preferably bending or fabrication machines) is a plus.
