Job Summary:

The Bending Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining bending machines to shape metal sheets, tubes, or bars according to specifications. This role involves reading technical drawings, setting up machines, ensuring accurate dimensions, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate manual or CNC bending machines to bend metal parts to required specifications. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders. Set up machine parameters such as angle, pressure, and feed rate. Select appropriate tooling and dies for each job. Inspect finished parts for accuracy using measuring tools (calipers, protractors, gauges). Perform regular maintenance and cleaning of machines. Monitor production to ensure efficiency and minimize material waste. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment. Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to meet production targets.

Qualifications & Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred. Proven experience as a bending machine operator (manual or CNC). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficient in using measurement tools and gauges. Knowledge of metals, bending processes, and fabrication techniques. Strong attention to detail and quality. Good physical stamina and manual dexterity. Understanding of safety regulations in metal fabrication.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods. Lift and handle materials up to [weight limit, e.g., 25 kg]. Exposure to moderate noise, heat, and metal dust.
