Our Client - A leading firm into Shipping Industry based in Dubai is looking for Jr. Accountant for ensuring the smooth financial operations of the fleet and various tasks related to security sheet compliance, monitoring fleet activities, and managing essential financial documentation.

Position: Jr. Accountant.

Package: 2.5K-3K (AED).

Location: Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

Security Compliance:

• Review and maintain security sheets to ensure the safety and integrity of fleet operations.

Idling Reporting:

• Monitor and report instances where vehicles are running without necessity, optimizing fuel consumption and operational efficiency.

Monitoring and Populating Information:

• Continuously monitor fleet activities, populate relevant data, and maintain accurate records for analysis and reporting.
• Camera monitoring as and when needed

Adherence to Fleet Schedule:

• Ensure drivers adhere to the fleet schedule, prepare reports, and conduct analysis to optimize routes and driver performance.

Documentation:

• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation related to vehicle records, driver information, and other essential logistics documents.

PODs Management:

• Oversee the management of Proof of Delivery documents, verifying their accuracy and completeness for billing and record-keeping.

Diesel Management:

• Manage diesel consumption and refuelling processes, keeping detailed records of expenses and consumption patterns.

Audit Assistance:

• Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information related to fleet finances and operations.

Language and Technical Skills:

• Communicate effectively in both English and Hindi, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Technology Utilization:
• Monitor cameras installed in fleet vehicles to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field

• Strong proficiency in English, Hindi, and Excel.
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial management.
• Ability to adapt to and utilize technology, including camera monitoring systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
