The Joinery Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all joinery works (factory), ensuring high-quality finishes, timely completion of tasks, efficient use of materials, and adherence to company policies, safety standards, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervision & Coordination
Supervise and lead joinery carpenters, polishers, and installers on site and in the workshop.
Allocate daily tasks, monitor productivity, and ensure work is completed to required standards.
Coordinate with team to understand drawings, specifications, and timelines.
2. Quality & Standards
Review joinery drawings, cutting lists, and material requirements before execution.
Ensure work is carried out according to approved shop drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
Inspect finished products for accuracy, fit, and finish.
3. Materials & Tools
Monitor use of materials and minimize wastage.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery.
Raise material requests in advance to avoid delays.
4. Communication & Reporting
Coordinate between factory, site team, and management for smooth workflow.
Attend site meetings as required and provide progress updates.
5. Workforce Management
Guide, train, and mentor workers to improve skills and efficiency.
Manage labor allocation to maximize productivity.
