Job Description
We are looking for an MEP draftsman - Who can join immediately after the interview. :
- Preparing Architectural Drawings mainly Joinery & Interior Fit Out for Authority Approval.
- Must have a minimum of 4-6 years\xe2\x80\x99 UAE experience in an interior Fit Out company.
- Must be excellent technical skills and be proficient in computer-aided design (Autocad, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design software).
- Preparing Architectural Drawings mainly Joinery & Interior Fit Out for Authority Approval.
- Preparing Shop Drawings/As-built drawings/Perspective for Approvals to Local Authority, Facility Management and Clients.
- Preparation of concept drawings & site visits
- Responsible for making detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for production.
- Coordinate with Production Managers, Project Managers and Designers to gather necessary technical design and changes.
- Prepare the joinery-cutting list for all loose wooden/metal furniture and case goods.
- Make detailed shop drawings based on concept drawings for productions.
- Prepare, read and interpret drawings and sketches.
- Experience in Architectural, Structural, Plumbing & Drainage, Fire Protection, Joinery & HVAC Drawing Production in CAD.
- Take site measurements and accurately calculate the sizes and amount of materials \xe2\x80\x93 if required.
- Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
- Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with CADD systems.
- Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
- Communicating with designers and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
- Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
- Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
- Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
- Diploma in Design/Architecture/Civil is preferred
- Minimum of 4 years minimum UAE experience.
- The designer will be responsible for managing the design functions on Fit out projects as assigned including liaising with the clients and other departments.
- Knowledge in Interior Designing/Joinery/ Fit Out Industry.
- Self reliance & ability in AutoCAD, 3D Max,3D modeling, Photoshop Adobe, Microsoft office
- Design knowledge for Safety & Aesthetics, follow UAE Authority Guidelines
- General Knowledge of the interior fit out/joinery industry & competition
- Knowledge in Space Planning & Commercial Interior Environment, Fit out detailing, Specifications, Suppliers & Materials is a must
- Excellent English language skills - Verbal & Written
- Urgent Mep draftsman needed - Can join immediately after interview.
