Joinery Estimator Mid Level

Job Description
Will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimates for joinery projects, including but not limited to furniture, cabinets, and other woodwork. Their work involves assessing the requirements of a project, analyzing data, and determining the most effective and cost-efficient approach to completing the project. Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and other project documents to accurately estimate project costs
- Communicating with clients, architects, and project managers to ensure project requirements are understood
- Analyzing project requirements to determine necessary materials, labor, and equipment
- Estimating labor and material costs and providing detailed cost breakdowns
- Monitoring project progress and updating estimates as needed
- Identifying potential project risks and developing contingency plans
- Prior experience in joinery, woodworking, or construction estimating
- Familiarity with industry-specific, such as Autocad, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, CAD-T plus, SketchUp or related cost-generating software.
- Preferred someone, who is experienced using optimization software for a more accurate costing.
- Knowledge of joinery techniques and materials
- Experience with project management tools and techniques
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical skill skills interpret and analyze project requirements and data
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with project managers, architects, and/or (if required) clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in mathematics and calculations
- Strong problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions to complex issues
- Preferably but not limited to Bachelor\'s degree in construction management, architecture, or a related field.
- Preferably but not limited to someone with professional certification in joinery estimating, such as the Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) designation
- Training or coursework in estimating, project management, or woodworking
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
