Armed Mid-level Counterintelligence Support Specialist Job Category: Intelligence Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular-Long Term Assignment Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 100% Type of Travel: Outside Continental US - Hazard More About the Role:
  • Coordinates and synchronizes a broad range of CI Operations activities to include analysis of those operations. Reviews, evaluates, and provides insightful analysis into CI Operations plans and activities in support of Services,
  • Combatant Commands, Agencies, and other special customers.
  • Contributes to the development, execution and evaluation of comprehensive operational plans.
  • Conducts special collection activities using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Executes effective CI collections and field operations to counter threats to sensitive US technologies, programs,
  • activities and facilities.
  • Plans and executes discrete physical observation; conducts counter-surveillance and detection operations; provides
  • unique, cutting-edge biometric collection capability.
  • May independently develop initiatives to enhance the analysis and analytical support provided to CI Operational
  • capabilities.
  • May prepare and deliver briefings to senior leadership regarding CI Operational plans and activities.
  • May provide client with a greater understanding of CI Operations policies and methodologies.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • Minimum of six years’ experience with former MOS, 35L, 351L, 97B, 35E, OR civilian 1810/1811/0132 OR as 18F = SF INTEL NCO OR 180A SF WO with ASOT-III, other service equivalent specialty codes such USAF 7S071 – Special Investigator (SI), USMC 0211 Counterintelligence/HUMINT (CI/HUMINT) specialist OR other DoD joint service equivalent specialty codes
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with coordinating operations
  • Knowledge of Army/Joint CI procedures, doctrine, and practices
  • Knowledge of Army/Joint Counterintelligence regulations and legal limits
  • Deployment experience
  • Experience working with and through interpreters.
  • Experience with interview and solicitation techniques
  • Experience with CI principles and methods
  • Experience in developing and conducting screenings / interviewing / debriefing skills
  • Experience with the evaluation of information requiring further investigation
  • Experience supporting CI operations OR acting in the capacity of / performing the mission of a CI agent
  • Experience writing military reports
  • Able to qualify with the M4 rifle and M9 pistol using basic military marksmanship standards
  • Able to carry a 60-lb pack in the field and the M4 rifle for self defense
  • Must be able to meet all Government requirements for travel outside of the United States, including full vaccination with a Coronavirus vaccine
These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:
  • Government CI credentialing course: CI Special Agent course (CISAC) or other accredited DOD credentialing course
  • Associates Degree
  • Knowledge of Dari or Pashto language and Afghan culture
  • Familiar with CI Systems and databases: PCASS, CELLEX, BI2R, TCOP, HOT-R
  • DSDC Qualified
  • Tactical Deployment CI experience
