Interpret
architectural, structural, and interior design drawings
to produce accurate joinery details.
Develop
cutting lists, material schedules, and assembly details
for workshop and site use.
Coordinate with
designers, engineers, project managers, and site teams
to resolve technical issues.
Ensure that all drawings adhere to
company standards, manufacturing capabilities, and project specifications.
Modify or update existing drawings based on client or project team feedback.
Maintain organized documentation and drawing revisions for all ongoing projects.
Liaise with suppliers to ensure compatibility of hardware, finishes, and materials.
Support the
production and installation teams
by providing clear technical details and clarifications.
Ensure compliance with
health, safety, and quality standards.
Minimum
3-5 years' experience
as a Joinery Draughtsman in a
joinery or fit-out company.
Strong knowledge of
joinery materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes.
Proficient in
AutoCAD
(essential); knowledge of
SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks
is an advantage.
Familiarity with
industry standards and construction details
for furniture, doors, cabinets, and fit-out works.
Good understanding of
shop fabrication techniques
and
installation procedures.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent
attention to detail
and
communication skills.
