Joinery Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled Joinery Draftsman with a background in interior fit-out projects. The role involves producing detailed workshop drawings for custom furniture, cabinetry, and millwork, ensuring designs are practical, manufacturable, and aligned with architectural intent.
Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed and accurate workshop drawings, assembly details, and material cutting lists for custom joinery items.
• Collaborate with interior designers and project managers to understand design concepts and technical requirements.
• Ensure all drawings comply with design specifications, quality standards, and workshop capabilities.
• Revise and update drawings based on shop floor feedback and site measurements.
• Liaise with the production team to resolve any technical issues during manufacturing.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Up to 5 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman or Technical Draftsman within an interior fit-out or joinery manufacturing company.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory. Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, materials (wood, veneers, laminates), and hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings.
• Diploma in Civil / Architectural Drafting or a related field.
