Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly detailed and proficient Joinery Draftsman to produce accurate and comprehensive workshop drawings and shop drawings for custom joinery and millwork. The candidate will be the crucial link between the design concept and the physical production and installation of joinery items.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed workshop drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings for all joinery items (cabinets, wall paneling, custom furniture, etc.).
• Create detailed drawings including plans, elevations, sections, details, and assembly instructions with precise dimensions, materials, and hardware specifications.
• Coordinate with interior designers and project managers to understand design intent and translate conceptual drawings into technically accurate production drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with company standards, manufacturing capabilities, and site measurements.
• Generate cutting lists, material schedules, and BOMs (Bills of Materials) for the workshop.
• Review and incorporate site measurement reports to ensure perfect fit during installation.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from the workshop, supervisors, and project team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3-4 years of experience as a Joinery Draftsman within the interior fit-out industry in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge in detailed drawing is required.
• High proficiency in AutoCAD is essential. Knowledge of SketchUp or other 3D software is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of joinery construction, materials, and hardware.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
