Job Description

The JDIO is a visionary leader responsible for driving the creative direction, innovation, and craftsmanship of the brand's jewelry collections. This role blends artistry with strategic foresight, ensuring designs resonate with market trends, brand identity, and customer aspirations. The JDIO will lead design ideation, oversee prototyping, and collaborate across departments to bring iconic pieces to life.

Design Leadership

Conceptualize and develop original jewelry designs aligned with brand aesthetics. Lead seasonal design cycles, from mood boards to final prototypes. Oversee CAD renderings, hand sketches, and 3D modeling.

Innovation & Trend Forecasting

Research global fashion and jewelry trends, materials, and techniques. Introduce innovative design methods, sustainable materials, and artisanal techniques. Collaborate with R&D to explore new finishes, gemstone treatments, and modular designs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with marketing, merchandising, and retail teams to align design with consumer insights. Work with production and sourcing teams to ensure feasibility and quality. Support brand storytelling through design narratives and collection themes.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all designs meet brand standards, legal requirements, and cultural sensitivities. Maintain documentation for design specs, sourcing, and intellectual property.

Mentorship & Team Development

Education

Bachelor's in Jewelry Design, Fine Arts, or related field

Experience

7+ years in luxury jewelry design, with leadership experience

Technical

Proficiency in CAD (Rhino, Matrix), Adobe Illustrator, and rendering tools

Creative

Strong portfolio showcasing innovation, craftsmanship, and brand alignment

Strategic

Ability to translate market insights into commercially successful designs

Soft Skills

Visionary thinking, collaborative spirit, attention to detail, and storytelling ability
