Our client is a leading Dubai-based provider of AV and smart workplace solutions, delivering complex projects for enterprise, government, and large-scale infrastructure clients.
Our client is seeking a visionary Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO) to shape the company's solutions architecture, innovation roadmap, and technology leadership. This senior executive role will drive the design and delivery of AI-driven, ICT-AV, smart building, and digital transformation solutions across enterprise, government, higher education, and smart city sectors.
The CTIO will balance strategic vision with deep technical expertise and market-facing innovation leadership, ensuring scalable, secure, and user-centric outcomes while leveraging strategic technology partnerships.
Role Overview

• Shape and lead the solutions architecture strategy for complex, multi-technology environments (ICT, AV, AI, IoT, BMS, cloud), ensuring designs are scalable, secure, and commercially viable.

• Translate enterprise and government transformation agendas into vendor-agnostic architectures that deliver measurable ROI and long-term competitiveness.

• Provide executive-level governance to safeguard solution integrity, compliance, and scalability across large, multi-stakeholder programmes.

• Set and drive the innovation agenda, accelerating the development and adoption of next-generation capabilities while advancing proprietary and partner-led technologies.

• Evaluate and shape the adoption of frontier technologies (AI/LLMs, AR/VR, IoT, robotics, smart energy, 5G) to keep the organisation ahead of market and regulatory shifts.

• Integrate AI-enabled capabilities -- workplace experience, energy optimisation, predictive analytics, and security intelligence -- into enterprise and smart city ecosystems.

• Lead proof-of-concepts and innovation pilots at scale, converting them into enterprise-ready solutions that create clear market differentiation.

• Represent the organisation at board and C-suite level, influencing enterprise clients, government stakeholders, and industry partners while positioning the business as a trusted digital transformation leader.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 15+ years of leadership in ICT, AV, and digital transformation, with a proven record of shaping enterprise technology strategies and delivering innovation at scale.

• Demonstrated success in designing and governing solution architectures across AI, IoT, AV, BMS, cloud, and workplace platforms for enterprise and government transformation programmes.

• Deep expertise in AI frameworks, digital twins, security analytics, and immersive experience platforms, with the ability to convert emerging technologies into commercially viable solutions.

• Strong credibility to engage and influence boards, C-suite leaders, and government stakeholders, building alignment between business strategy and technology delivery.

• Track record of building and leading high-performing cross-functional teams and shaping global partner ecosystems to accelerate innovation and growth.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Certifications in Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF), Cloud (Azure/AWS), or AI are an advantage.

Candidate Profile

• Currently based in the UAE.

• Fluent in English with exceptional client-facing, communication, and senior stakeholder management skills.
