• Creates designs with strong artistic sensibilities that satisfy the needs of the traditional and trendy jewelry customers
• Maintains current knowledge of design trends
• Manage creative and technical development of products within merchandise assortment strategy
• Create detailed sketches, technical drawings, and descriptions with measurements using mainly Illustrator
• develop materials with production and supplier
• Approval of submits
• Provide design research, attend trade exhibitions, supervise the product development process
• Assists in identifying seasonal material direction, merchandise trends, and client needs for the area of responsibility
• Create highly detailed drawings and sketches for technical purposes
• Actively seek input from customers to ensure consistent adherence to service standards

Qualifications for jewelry designer:

• Bachelor's degree in Jewelry, Fashion or Product Design
• Strong and accurate technical design skills- attention to detail is a must!
• Must have a passion, interest or understanding of our lifestyle brand + its mission
• Must be a highly collaborative person who thrives in a team atmosphere
• Excellent written and spoken English is essential
• Master of Arts (preferable but not essential)

Experience:

• Jewelry Designer: 1 year (Preferred)
