Java Backend, Kotlin, Microservice Engineer

Job Description
The role must execute the following core responsibilities:
Development knowledge and competency
o Understanding of software development patterns and practices: Quality via TDD/BDD, REST principles, SOLID principles, Reactive design.
o Experience with Distributed Systems with Microservices and Cloud native designs.
o Strong knowledge of Domain Driven Design/Development, Test Driven Development, Service Oriented Architecture
o Outstanding Object Orientated design and programming skills, Design Pattern
o Expert skills in building microservices
o Solid understanding of the API development life cycle
o 5+ years building backend RESTful API using Spring, Spring Boot, Micronaut
o Java 11 & Kotlin
o Experience in reactive programming is a big plus
o Expert skills in caching (response headers), in-memory caching, database query caching
o Cryptography primitive
DevOps experience
o Experience in Tomcat, Apache, Undertow
o Experience in Azure & Linux Environment
o Experience in Agile Software Development methodology
o Experience in using source control management such as GitHub, bit bucket
o Strong demonstrable knowledge of Java / JVM based development practices
o Build tools such as Gradle or similar.
o Experience with CI/CD tooling is a plus
