JAVA BACKEND DEVELOPER

What You'll Do

Build and maintain backend services using

Java 17+

and the

Spring ecosystem

Design and implement

REST APIs

and support a

microservices-based architecture

Take ownership of build processes using

Maven

or

Gradle

Use

Git

effectively with proper branching, pull requests, and review workflows Build and maintain

CI/CD pipelines

with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins Deploy, monitor, and manage services on

AWS

Work with

Docker

or

Kubernetes

for containerization and environment setup Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues independently Communicate clearly and contribute to a healthy, accountable engineering culture

What You Should Bring

5-6 years

of hands-on Java development experience Strong expertise in

Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security

Solid experience building and consuming

REST APIs

Good understanding of

microservices patterns

Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (

MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

) Proven experience building and maintaining

CI/CD pipelines

Mandatory experience working with

AWS core services

Familiarity with

Docker

or

Kubernetes

(bonus, not required) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills A sense of ownership, accountability, and the ability to collaborate without drama

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
