IV&V Senior Engineer

The Role: We are looking for Senior Integration, Verification and Validation Engineer with extensive experience in design and development of Radar applications to join our team in Abu Dhabi.

Responsibilities:

Work with senior system engineer to create system level test procedures and scenarios for verifying new mode capabilities.

Test Environment enabling (test requirements assessment, budget, commission, set up)

Perform system integration, testing, data analysis, tactical simulations, updating of test procedures and generation of test reports.

Knowledgeable in Radar systems engineering and IV&V engineering principles.

Utilizes knowledge of RF systems and radar in general to verify the requirements allocated in DOORS or similar requirement tool.

Ability to follow test procedures and generate data for test reports.

The assignment may include various radar programs or collaboration with telecom solutions projects.

Requirements management (DOORS) and interactions with multiple project contributors.

Conduct verification and validation via testing/analysis for environmental requirement such as temperature, vibration, EMC etc.

Planning and arrangement of engineering integration and testing.

Provide input to design process and support system testing activities.

Write/review environmental and functional requirement integration and verification plans.

Support tasks as varied as Radar testing, electronics testing, qualification testing, customer demonstrations, Transition-to-Production.

Experience & Skills

Knowledge of signal processing techniques and use of MATLAB (desirable).

Knowledgeable in Radar systems engineering and IV&V engineering principles

Specific knowledge of and experience working with Radar systems and/or subsystems: antenna, microwave, DSP, digital and electronics designs, environmental requirements, software.

Experience collaborating with other team leads and responsible for specific activities and progress on those activities will be monitored and tracked. Proven Experience in test and design input for equipment with MilStd 810 and MilStd 461 requirements is a merit

Experience originating Systems Test plans and procedures for I&T, V&V, and unit/module procedures for Special Test Equipment.

Demonstrated experience working under structured IPDT process (Integrated Product Development Team).

Minimum 10 years experience in IV&V for the related products

Technical Leadership and effective communication key.

Creative Problem solving and technical decision making.

Analysis, problem solving and trouble shooting.

Interpretation, critical think assessment and breakdown of requirements.

Specifications, design diagrams, and descriptions as well as reports.

Support internally to team to ensure that project team builds the system right according to design requirements
