As an IT Tier 1 Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our clients seeking technical assistance. Your primary responsibility will be to provide timely and effective support, troubleshooting issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup, network configuration, and hardware malfunctions.
Escalate complex problems to higher-tier support when necessary.
Provide clear and concise instructions to clients for resolving technical issues.
Log all client interactions and resolutions in the company's ticketing system.
Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with new technologies and tools.
Requirements:
Currently residing in the UAE (applications from outside the UAE will not be considered).
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a call center or helpdesk environment.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, MS Office Suite, and basic networking.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in IT (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).
Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems.
Knowledge of additional operating systems (e.g., macOS, Linux) is a plus.
