Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Technician for one of our IT Based client in Al Ain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting the company's IT systems, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software, and providing technical support to staff and clients. This position offers a great opportunity for a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and a keen interest in technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, networks, and related technologies.
Install, configure, and upgrade software and hardware.
Perform regular system maintenance and updates, ensuring security protocols are followed.
Provide technical support for staff, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
Assist in the management and optimization of IT infrastructure.
Perform routine diagnostics and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Set up and configure new IT equipment for staff and clients.
Monitor and maintain network security, including setting up firewalls and anti-virus systems.
Provide training and assistance to users as needed, ensuring they are equipped with the skills to use IT resources effectively.
Document issues and resolutions, creating user guides as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing computer systems and networks.
Experience with installing and configuring IT equipment and software.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues quickly.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Strong communication skills to assist and train non-technical staff.
Familiarity with network security practices.
