Bespin Global is looking to hire an IT systems engineer to join the MIS team, who will be responsible for maintaining core business IT systems (primarily the Jira suite), developing and supporting integrations between systems, and automating internal business processes as much as possible through the effective use of IT.
Manage and monitor business-critical IT systems, primarily the Jira suite of software
Develop integrations between core business systems using both code and no-/low-code platforms, and support those integrations once deployed
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency and to lower the need for human intervention
Provide 2nd and 3rd level system support to company employees
Work with the MIS team and other business units to automate internal company processes and tools
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements:
BSc. / MSc. in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
0-1 year of professional experience in systems engineering/administration or software development
Development/scripting experience in a modern programming language (NodeJS, Ruby, Python, Java etc.)
Solid cloud knowledge - certification a bonus
Solid understanding of APIs, system integration and security architecture
Strong technical mindset, with the ability to pick up and understand new systems and technologies quickly
Knowledge of IT governance and project management methodologies
Strong English verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Are you willing to relocate and provide a housing contract in the emirates of Abu Dhabi maximum 2 months after joining? *
