Respond to tickets raised, provide troubleshooting support on issues that affect a single system or application and evaluate user requests
Anticipate potential user issues and determine the changes that need to be made
Install, configure, and maintain personal computers and peripherals whilst investigating and resolving any related issues/problems
Install new hardware, systems and software and manage user system back-ups and restores
Support computing infrastructure, monitor system performance and implement performance tuning
Document system problems and resolutions
Manage user accounts, permissions, email, anti-virus and anti-spam
Perform day-to-day monitoring operations and operate the network at a simple level under supervision
Back up data as per the schedule, restore data from back up onto the server/ system and administer tape libraries
Respond to issues before the user realizes the concern and determine what changes need to be made
Modify, implement, document, and maintain applications by understanding component inter-relationships within existing systems
Assist users with advice on the best use of their equipment
Administer IT requirements for client meetings and conferences
