We are seeking an experienced IT Support Field Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing on-site and remote technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software systems to ensure reliable, high- quality service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting issues and
resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing their impact.
Maintain, configure, and ensure reliable operation of computer systems and network servers.
Conduct testing, repairing, and servicing of IT hardware.
Provide excellent service and customer support during on-site visits.
Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance, and testing of equipment.
Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.
Produce detailed service reports following site visits.
Respond to service calls, including emergencies or after-hours requests.
Install or upgrade company-maintained equipment at various field locations.
Repair or replace damaged hardware.
Perform system upgrades to support compatible hardware or software.
Provide technical support via phone, remote sessions, or on-site visits as needed.
Support AV troubleshooting, including video conferencing systems, audio-conferencing room
systems, digital signage, and related equipment.
Conduct Cat6 cable termination and point-to-point network cable testing.
Install hardware devices using drill machines for indoor and outdoor setups.
Configure hardware after installation for indoor and outdoor setups.
Image/reimage PCs and install software updates as required.
Provide orientation and training to users on new software and equipment.
Resolve logged errors/tickets and ensure timely troubleshooting in line with SLA requirements.
Requirements and Skills:
Proven experience in Field Service roles.
Strong ability to troubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment.
Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
Technical degree or relevant certification.
2-3 years of experience as an IT Technician or in IT Support roles.
Knowledge of AV systems, networking, and structured cabling.
Proficiency with Cat6 termination and network testing.
Experience with PC imaging/reimaging and software updates.
Valid UAE Driving License (mandatory for this role).
