Black Pearl is hiring a Junior IT Support Specialist to provide technical support and ensure smooth IT operations across the company. This role suits proactive individuals with strong troubleshooting skills and a passion for IT service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
Diagnose and resolve user problems via phone, email, remote tools, or on-site.
Log and track IT support tickets to ensure timely resolution.
Hardware & Software Management
Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals.
Manage software installations, updates, and patches.
Ensure all devices meet security and performance standards.
Network & System Support
Assist in monitoring network connectivity and system performance.
Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and user access issues.
Support user account setup and permission management.
User Support & Documentation
Provide user training for basic IT tools and systems.
Create user guides, FAQs, and onboarding documentation.
Maintenance & Monitoring
Conduct routine checks on antivirus, backups, and system updates.
Maintain IT asset inventory and service logs.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity best practices.
Coordination & Administration
Coordinate with vendors for repairs and procurement.
Support IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and system rollouts.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
5-8 years of IT support experience.
Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and networking basics.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and cloud apps.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, ITIL, CCNA, or Google IT Support are preferred.
Excellent communication, time management, and customer service skills.
Valid UAE driving license preferred.
