IT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

IT Specialist

to join our growing IT team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in IT security implementation, strong technical expertise in core IT systems, and a solid understanding of data security and IT infrastructure. This role involves ensuring the smooth setup, maintenance, and optimization of IT systems, while maintaining the highest levels of security for our organization's infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Security Implementation:

Lead and manage the implementation of IT security solutions across various platforms, ensuring robust protection against cyber threats. Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other security tools to safeguard sensitive data.

Infrastructure Management:

Expertise in managing, configuring, and maintaining systems such as

QNAP

Active Directory

,

DNS

,

SAN

, and

NAS

.

IT Setup Implementation:

Oversee the implementation of new IT setups and infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network configurations.

Data Security & Compliance:

Implement and maintain data security measures to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of organizational data.

Office 365 Management:

Administer and support

Office 365

suite, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and other applications. Troubleshoot user issues and provide support to ensure the optimal usage of Office 365 tools for collaboration and productivity.

Troubleshooting & Support:

Provide technical support for IT issues across various platforms, assisting staff with hardware, software, and network problems.

Documentation & Reporting:

Maintain clear and detailed documentation for IT systems, processes, and configurations. Prepare and submit regular reports on system health, security status, and compliance.

Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in IT support, security, and infrastructure management. Proven expertise in implementing and managing

IT security solutions

. Hands-on experience with

storage systems,

Active Directory

DNS

,

SAN

, and

NAS

. Solid experience in

Office 365

administration, including email management, user provisioning, and troubleshooting.

Certifications (Preferred):

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE). QNAP-specific certifications or training would be a plus.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
