Qualification: BE/BTech in Computer Science & Engineering/ Electronics & Communication Engineering or BCA/BSc/Diploma (3 Years) in Computer Science from a recognized University.
Experience: 5 years - minimum 3 years experience in the UAE, GCC/India will be considered.

Core Daily/Primary Responsibilities
Provide
first-line / second-line technical support
-- respond to phone calls, emails, chat, or in-person requests.
Troubleshoot and resolve
hardware and software issues on Windows, macOS, and sometimes Linux systems
Diagnose and fix problems with computers, laptops, industrial machines with PC's, monitors, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and other peripherals
Install, configure, and deploy new
workstations
, laptops, and software
Perform
operating system installations
, re-imaging, and system upgrades (Windows XP/8/10/11, Microsoft 365 etc.)
Set up and configure user accounts, email clients, VPNs, and network connections
Handle
basic network troubleshooting
(Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity, IP conflicts, printer sharing)
Install, update, and patch
software applications
, ERP, Autodesk software, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft office, antivirus/endpoint security tools, and system updates
Provide
on-site (desk-side)
and
remote support
to users across the organization and project sites.
Networking-Related Responsibilities
Diagnose and fix
common network connectivity issues
(no internet, slow connection, Wi-Fi problems)
Troubleshoot
LAN/Wi-Fi issues
, IP conflicts, DHCP, and basic DNS problems
Configure and support
network printers
and shared resources
Assist with
VPN connections
and remote access issues
Reset and configure
basic network devices
(routers, access points, switches -- mostly plug-and-play or guided)
Perform
basic cable testing
and structured cabling troubleshooting
Support
IP PBX system,
VoIP phones
and basic telephony issues
Escalate complex network problems on time (routing, firewall rules, core switch config) to the next level.
Regular Duties
Asset management
-- track, inventory, and maintain IT hardware; order replacement parts/supplies
Onboarding/offboarding
-- set up computers and accounts for new employees; collect and wipe devices from departing staff
Perform
preventive maintenance
(cleaning hardware, checking for overheating, disk cleanup, etc.)
Document issues, solutions, and procedures in the
system

Escalate complex issues to network, server, security, or application teams when necessary
Train end-users on
basic technology usage
, best practices, and new tools/software
Ensure compliance with company
IT security policies
and assist with basic cybersecurity awareness
