IT Support Engineer

to join our technical team. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys problem-solving, providing hands-on technical assistance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations for users and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Provide first-level and second-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment. Troubleshoot operating systems, office applications, email clients, and enterprise software. Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and basic network security components. Assist with server maintenance, backups, antivirus updates, and system patching. Respond to IT support tickets, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely issue resolution. Support users both on-site and remotely, ensuring minimal downtime and high satisfaction. Maintain documentation for IT assets, configurations, procedures, and support logs. Coordinate with vendors and senior engineers for advanced technical issues when required.

Requirements and Skills

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer, IT Technician, or similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, basic Linux concepts, and common office productivity tools. Understanding of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and peripheral device support. Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
