The Role
IT Support Engineer - 12 months contract Key responsibilities and requirement in detail: Support: \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide first line of support on Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Apps, Telecommunication, and collaboration solutions within the respective site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide support to the digital operations team to maintain the core Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Apps, Telecommunication, and collaboration solutions at the respective site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide all technical support during the installation, configuration, and rollout phase. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide computer help desk support in resolving PC, printer, and network problems either directly or Remotely with end-users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks. \xe2\x80\xa2 Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests \xe2\x80\xa2 Basic knowledge of Active Directory \xe2\x80\xa2 Repair and replace parts/equipment, as necessary. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot hardware and software problems by running diagnostics, documenting problems, and resolutions, and assessing the impact of issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Prioritize and manage many open cases at one time. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage the stock of equipment, consumables, and other supplies. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage user accounts, and emails, assign rights and access to the digital services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Upgrade, install, and configure computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, CCTV, etc. to meet the objectives of the adoption and support unit. \xe2\x80\xa2 Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose and solve hardware or software faults, document problems, and resolutions, and assess the impact of issues. \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain availability, performance, integrity, and security of digital systems within the site. \xe2\x80\xa2 Check Security logs from (Servers firewalls, switches, routers, etc.), monitor network traffic, run virus scans, and ensure security patches are up to date to avoid security breaches. \xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze incidents, resolve and/or escalate the issues received to ensure the proper resolution. \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage user accounts, and emails, assign rights and access to the digital system and services. \xe2\x80\xa2 Provide the required awareness and training to the end user to ensure the proper use of digital systems and services.

Requirements
COMPETENCIES: \xe2\x80\xa2 Up-to-date knowledge of the latest IT and software trends \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong technical background in IT systems and support \xe2\x80\xa2 Sound problem-solving and decision-making skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Good knowledge on cybersecurity \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to quickly establish good working relationships with end users. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to prioritize the workload. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work well in a team. \xe2\x80\xa2 Flexible and open to change \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent communication and time management Skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to travel when necessary. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: \xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in IT/computer science. \xe2\x80\xa2 Minimum Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 2+ years total experience in IT support.
