We are a furniture manufacturing company looking for a proactive and technically skilled
IT Support
professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in providing daily technical support, managing IT systems, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the company. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining network and security systems, and supporting business applications.
Responsibilities:
Provide daily technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices, software, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot
Windows OS
,
Microsoft Office Outlook
, and various business applications.
Manage and administer
Microsoft 365
, including user accounts, email services, licenses, and security settings.
Monitor, configure, and maintain
firewall systems
to ensure secure network operations.
Manage
Synology NAS Storage
-- shared folders, access permissions, backup configurations, and storage health.
Provide first-level support for
ERPNext
, including user management, ticket handling, and basic configuration.
Perform regular system checks, data backup, recovery, and preventive maintenance.
Manage antivirus and IT security tools, ensuring compliance with company security policies.
Install, configure, and maintain IT hardware, peripherals, and network devices.
Manage IT asset lifecycle: assignment, transfer, disposal, and inventory updates.
Configure and troubleshoot
CCTV systems (IP cameras)
, video conferencing setups, and AV equipment.
Configure and support
IP Phones
, DNS, DHCP, and VPN where required.
Coordinate with vendors for procurement, warranty claims, and technical escalations.
Assist in evaluating hardware/software and recommend IT improvements.
Provide technical support for internal meetings, events, and video conferences.
Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests within agreed turnaround times.
Skills
Microsoft 365 administration.
Firewall configuration & network security.
ERPNext support and basic configuration.
Windows OS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Hardware & software troubleshooting.
Data backup & recovery.
Antivirus and security monitoring.
Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, VPN.
IP Phone configuration and support.
IT asset management.
CCTV & AV system setup and troubleshooting.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Job Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Information Technology.
3-5 years of experience in IT Support or similar role.
Experience in
Microsoft 365
administration
Experience in
ERPNext
is an advantage
Relevant IT certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Networking, etc.) preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
