Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Location: Abu Dhabi Experience: Min 2 Years Language: English Education: High school diploma General Summary Assist with setting up and breaking down of event technology equipment, including but not limited to computers, projectors, sound systems, and networking gear. Ensure all equipment is functioning and properly connected before the event start time. Respond to technical support requests in a timely manner. Assist event attendees, vendors, and staff with IT-related issues, such as Wi-Fi connectivity, application access, and hardware malfunctions. Triage, diagnose, and resolve Level 1 technical issues. Escalate more complex issues to higher-level support teams as needed. Monitor event technology equipment for optimal performance throughout the event. Perform regular checks to ensure connectivity and functionality. Coordinate with vendors for equipment rental or repair, if needed. Document issues, solutions, and any feedback for process improvement. Maintain a daily log of support requests and resolutions. Submit post-event reports to IT and event management detailing any challenges, successes, and recommendations for future events. Guide attendees on the use of event applications, software, or digital platforms, if applicable Work closely with other departments, such as AV teams, to ensure the technical needs of the event are met. Collaborate with Level 2 or Level 3 support when higher-tier assistance is required.
