A proactive attitude and the ability to learn and understand the present business needs, as well as a thorough understanding of IT and Communications and their roles in supporting an established and expanding business. Your responsibilities will be: - Immediate logging and resolution of critical user issues by accepting responsibility for the issues, thereby assisting in the smooth operation of the business. - Assist users in the efficient use of the company's hardware, software, and telecommunications tools by utilizing a thorough professional knowledge of these products. - Carry out routine period end processing tasks while understanding the reasons for such tasks and processes and remaining capable of responding to any associated problems or concerns. - Maintain and support the network's structural aspects by managing cabling, patching, and hardware installations or movements. - Collaborate with other Team members to provide appropriate automated solutions as needed. - capable of delivering high-quality work while adhering to established procedures and/or protocols, i.e. Skills and Qualifications: - Proven capacity to think and act strategically, as well as strong interpersonal skills. - Self-motivation, flexibility, and dedication the role holder must be eager and ambitious to learn and develop new skills. - A minimum of 2 years' experience as an IT specialist - A relevant educational background - Understanding of IT principles as well as the ability to successfully communicate technicalities to a diverse audience The ideal candidate would be: - Organized, with the ability to manage time and task completion. - Able to fit into and be a part of an existing small team.
