Job Description

2.1. Required Competencies

• Advanced Knowledge of Windows operating systems.

• Knowledge of business applications including but not limited to Microsoft Office Application Suite, Adobe, AutoCAD

• Operating System Deployment / Upgrade project experience

• Desktop and Laptop imaging

• Experience in a busy technical support environment

• Knowledge of Active Directory and Systems

• Disciplined trouble shooting skills

• Strong team working

• Ability to always follow up problems with customers to completion

• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills

• Proactive customer service attitude

2.2. Required Experience

• 5+ years of previous technical IT work experience with System Administration, Networking, or IT Support roles.

• Previous experience with supporting technical engineering or geoscience applications preferred.

2.3. Scope of Work

• Work as part of a team of IT Service Desk

• Deploy Operating System Images on laptops

• Install and configure Business applications

• Migrate user data and profile to new system

• Manage the distribution and inventory of computer equipment and accessories.

• Provide advanced IT technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for system users.

• Escalate support issues as necessary to other members of the IT team.

• Provide expertise in a range of business and technical applications.

• Ensure that the appropriate Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes in support of the project are followed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month Application Question(s):
