VAM Systems is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company. VAM Systems is currently looking for IT Project Manager for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions: Education & Skills . Degree level qualification in Computer Science or equivalent professional qualification. . Project Management qualification - e.g. PMP, PRINCE 2 is essential. . Knowledge of common IT software and hardware technologies. . High proficiency in both written and oral English language. Arabic language is an added advantage. . High level of problem solving and communication skills required. Experience . 3 to 5 years of experience in Project Management within IT environment. . Experience of working in a team that delivers IT solutions. . Knowledge of Project management tools and measurement techniques applied to IT project management. Main Objectives . Effective management and implementation of Information Technology projects. Ensure that projects are scoped, planned, implemented and delivered according to project plan and within budget meeting the requirements and target dates. . Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, and manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs. . Coordinate with internal resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects, and report to management the project progress, issues and risks at timely manner. Main Duties . Implement IT projects according to the IT project management process and create, maintain and ensure endorsement of the project documentation through project life cycle phases including initiation, planning, implementation and closure phases. . Work with the project domain manager, subject matters experts and the user department to scope the project, define detailed requirements and deliverables along with their acceptance criteria's. Ensure endorsement of the scope baseline and the ongoing monitoring and control of scope changes. . Create and update project status reports, the status and project progress are formally and comprehensively reported. Measure project performance against key project performance criteria such as schedule, quality, cost and risk. Identify any deviations. Assess the impact of deviations on the project, and report results to key stakeholders. . Effectively identify and work to resolve projects issues. Maintain active and up to date issues log and report active issues to key stakeholders. Instigate corrective action at the project level as required, escalate issues that cannot be resolved to Senior Management as appropriate. . Identify projects risks, analyse it and establish mitigating plans. Ensure monitoring and controlling risks to minimise impact. Maintain up to date project risk register. Share the identified active risk and their status with the key stakeholders. . Ensure successful completion of projects according to set targets, within approved scope, timeline and cost, and the acceptance of the project deliverables by the end users. . Prepare require documentation and facilitate handover to the support team upon project closure, including updating the user guides, access procedures, monitoring and support documentation. . Assist Manager IT Project Management Office in the further enhancement and development of the project management process to address areas of improvement.
